2 Internship placement  (published in the List of Placements)

A short project title, as it would appear in a list. We may shorten it slightly for the LOP.
How many students you can host for this theme.
Department or laboratory where the internship will take place, as you would write it on a business card.
City and prefecture only — e.g. "Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture" or "Minato City, Tokyo". This is what students see.
Internal. Full address of internship location, used for visa and contract paperwork. If it is the same as the company address, write "same as above".
What the student will do over the six months: task, team, tools, and what they will learn. 150–300 words, mostly about the work, though an additional short paragraph about your company is welcome. Students read this to decide where to apply.

3 Student requirements (published in the List of Placements)

The academic fields and the concrete skills needed — e.g. "electronics or computer science; C programming, microcontroller firmware".
Choose at least one level.
The internship is carried out largely in English.
Most students start the internship with beginner-level Japanese; requiring N3 will significantly limit the number of candidates.

4 For the EU-Japan Centre (internal, not published)

Name and title of the person who will supervise the student's day-to-day work. If this is not decided yet, please leave it blank.
Where you plan to house the student during Japanese language training in Shibuya Ward (August–September) and during the internship (October–March). If not yet confirmed, give the intended area, e.g. "near Kawasaki station".
Beyond the standard three-party contract: NDA, IP assignment, safety undertaking. Please share the text if possible.
Are there any legal or contractual restrictions on which students you can accept for this theme (e.g. export-control nationality or residence requirements, customer site-access rules)?

If under internal review, please confirm by email to vinj@eu-japan.or.jp by 15 December 2026.
